Ask The Experts: What Are Your “Go To” Immune Support Products?

by Emerson Ecologics

Every day our Medical Education team receives practitioner questions on a wide variety of topics. We decided to ask what they keep on hand in their home “dispensary” to help maintain healthy and robust immune systems.

We have some wonderful new products so in addition to my multivitamin I really like the new and for daily use. If a time comes when I need extra support I reach for and  – my long time fave for over 20 years. It’s a classic, and I love that it has a high dose of vitamin C in addition to the botanicals. I also keep as well as in the cupboard, along with and when really needed for extra immune support.

Let’s also not forget the teas!  I like Pukka’s and Yogi Teas  , and

When traveling by air, I bring along , because they also have a hefty dose of zinc and vitamin C and make for a sweet treat on the plane instead of candy. And since we’ve all learned the value of upper respiratory hygiene, so I travel with an immune throat spray which comes in little 1 or 2 oz travel bottles, either and what’s great is these double as breath sprays!  My last and favorite trick for air travel is to bring a silver spray like which doubles as a throat mist and a hydrating facial/sinus mist!

My “Go-To’s” for everyday support include and a mushroom powder like . I often take the syrup on its own, but will also mix the syrup into water or seltzer water for a yummy daily boost. I also like the and keep that on hand.

When it comes to daily support for my kids, I include probiotics, like and . Elderberry syrup is also great for them as well and can even serve as a topping for ice cream or pancakes!

I use .along with my multivitamin for daily foundational immune support.  For extra support I’ve always liked . I use this personally when I need it and it really helps.  Another new favorite is  for occasional use.

Homeopathically, I keep on hand if ever needed (“knock on wood” I’ve never had to!)

For my everyday immune support, I like to focus on base nutrients and herbs that can help both with immunity and also help me perform my best during the day. I personally take (a very absorbable form of zinc) as well as on a daily basis as my go-to mineral and vitamin one-two punch for immune support.

I also use daily, since this contains both Panax and Eleuthero. As adaptogens both these herbs have established safety profiles for everyday use and as immune support.

In addition, I use everyday mixed with organic juice or already a part of my favorite pre-workout, . We tend to think of creatine as a sports performance supplement, but it actually has !
